As the Head of Service Platform and Observability for BlackRock’s Mission Control group, I lead initiatives that monitor the firm’s Aladdin Platform through robust telemetry, logging, and alerting solutions. In addition, I lead the development, governance, and strategic direction of our Service Platform, driving innovation and automation at scale through ServiceNow. My role spans designing, developing, and delivering solutions with a focus on efficiency, resilience and risk mitigation. Alongside a global development team, I engineer solutions with scripting (Python), Java, and Golang (servers/CLIs), alongside telemetry tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and web technologies.
